One of the main areas of improvement my project has seen is in the dome. I have totally re-worked it twice, most recently with the addition of resin-cast copies of the Holoprojector Lenses and the Rear Logic Surround
The R2-D2 Builder's Club official blueprints proved their worth when I needed to cast a new Radar Eye. I formed a polystyrene mold based on the blueprints, then I cast the piece in plastic body filler.
